I export the real tracks from BB/RB to my DAW. In the DAW, I have the entire track available and use volume envelopes to control what comes in and goes out and where.

The advantage to this method is as follows. If I have something about that solo that I do not like, it's really easy to grab the part from a different section of the song that follows the same chord pattern, such as a different verse or chorus, where the solo would not normally be heard and simply copy and paste it into the one that will be heard. I can't count the number of times I have used this with not only solos, but the fills that are heard in a verse between the singer's phrases.
