Did I hear you sneak in a nice diminished chord somewhere? Gave it an unexpected interesting twist.

I'm a big fan of using diminished chords, where appropriate, to add a little character to the song. Another chord I use when I can is the minor 11th. I use it primarily where a 1-2m-5 progression would be common. I simply use the m11 to replace the 2m and 5 chords. the minor 11th is so similar to a 5 chord that it's a perfect melding of the two. probably way more than you wanted to know. Thanks again. Alan
