I have been listening quite a bit lately to an artist that goes by Tycho. It's mostly chilled out electronic music- at least past albums. However, his album 'Epoch' has several places of odd time signature goodness. The track "Division" offers some Vangelis-y leads, ping pong guitars, distorted electric bass, several very sweet open hi-hat accent surprises as well as post-rock-ish shimmery guitars. "Slack" is one that moves between 7/8 and 4/4 pretty fluidly, again with deliciously delayed palm muted electric guitar pings. The drums on this song remind me of the incredible drummer from Mutemath - Darren King. There are a couple of places where it also actually sounds like a modern King Crimson reprising bits of Three of a Perfect Pair.
