There is absolutely no need to render a separate SGU. There is a specific option to retain the RD from an A sub-style during the "B".

Unfortunately, I'm on a different PC right now, and I'll try and post how to access the option later, but in the meantime rest assured that it's something that can be accomplished with a couple of clicks :-)
