RB can work in other bit rates but your realtracks will always be just a converted version of the original quality (WMA or WAV depending on what you bought).

On this system I am on now, 24/96 is the highest available bit rate in RB (see image below). If I had a different sound card in this system 24/192 would likely be available.

I'm pretty sure BiaB has a much lower limit for bit rates, but you wouldn't want to be mixing additional tracks there anyway.

The beauty of RB is it behaves more like a DAW but still offers the generation options of BiaB.
