Man, is my house haunted with gremlins or what?

I moved the project to RB and I've been trying out different soloists and they all suck, really suck.

The the first 8 bars of the verse is this /G7sus G7/F7sus F7/ That's it. G to F. There are some cool changes for the second 8 bars and the soloists have no problem with those, they're all running lines all over those changes but the basic G to F? No.

What are the soloists doing and I mean RT saxes, trumpets, guitars and even two midi soloists? For each bar they're hitting like one or two totes up high then an octave down so it sounds sort of like dwa di BWA, dwa di BWA each bar until there are the chord changes. No runs or licks, just that and it's unbelievably bad. The BWA is a single note way down low. Finally I created a new test project, same style and 16 bars of the G to F and the solo's sound fine.

What the heck is going on with my original project? That's the same project I opened in RB. Yes I've messed with it a lot, I've probably tried out a dozen styles, changed I don't know how many RT's and the biggie I think is I created a pretty good melody with harmony. Still the basic project as it stands is just 5 tracks and I added an organ and the soloist tracks to make 7. The test project has none of that, brand new song enter those 16 bars, select the style and a soloist and hit Play. It's fine.

I'm just shaking my head here. If some of the newbies see this their first time out, no wonder they think the program needs a complete rewrite. Now I have a decision, do I recreate the song in the new project and import the melody from the old project or use the new project to create some solo parts and import them into the original project?

I'll say this for sure, this is way too much effort for one song.
