Freeze track/Save/Reopen & Play Problem . . .
1. I arrange a song with the plan to add a "Real" soloist.
2. I add "Mute" and "Back to Normal" commands to certain measures.
3. I generate a Real soloist part. It generates and plays as expected according to the "Mute" and "Back to Normal" @ X measure commands.
4. I keep regenerating until satisfied with the result. AOK to this point.
5. I "Freeze" the soloist part. Still AOK.
6. I save the song.
7. When the song is reopened and played, the "Mute" commands are ignored. The soloist plays through the entire song.
Haven't tried it yet, but presume this problem would happen on any "Real" track.
Perhaps it's the Snowflake icon . . . you know, no two flakes are the same.
Can someone please confirm (not that two flakes are never the same)?

hi Don,
I'll look into that. In the meantime, have you tried using another track to generate the solo (guitar track, melody track etc.) just like any other Realtrack.

Hi Peter,
Tested all tracks MIDI & Real . . .
1. Problem only with Melody & Soloist Real tracks. MIDI works AOK all tracks.
2. Muted bars play correctly before and after "Freeze" and before "Save".
3. Bar mutes are ignored after reopen and Play on Melody & Soloist Real tracks.

re: Frozen tracks on Melody or Soloist don't follow the mutes or F5 settings.
Thanks Don, for the helpfu information. I should be able to fix that issue for next build.
In the meantime, as you've found, best to use the other tracks when you need mutes with frozen tracks.

Ah, mutes and frozen tracks. A Canadian horn player marching in the snow.
Sort of a wish list idea, how about being able to save a global setup, like I always turn the Melody and Soloist off. And would like some sort of global control over certain instruments. Having a realtrack generate then play with the trombone at 127 volume is, um, disturbing. Now I know about trying to convince the bone guys that p is not ff is hard, but that's why I don't invite them to my house to play along.
