I'm sure there's a simple answer to this but after searching all the video guides and googling it I still can't find an answer.
All I want to do is create arrangements for the songs, for example - guitar comes in on bar 5, bass drops out for four bars from bar 9, etc...
How do I do this? Surely there's an easy way to create arrangements...
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi mascis, What you need is "Bar Settings". This will allow you to bring the various BIAB tracks in and out of the mix using "mute" and "back to normal" options. With Windows BIAB, the shortcut for Bar Settings is F5. It can also be accessed by right-clicking on the chordsheet. Regards, Noel

An easy one!
- Go to the place within a song wher you wish an "action" (mute/Back to normal etc..)
- Right click on the bar and choose "bar settings"
- Choose the wanted Chorus where the action should take place,
- Choose the instrument and
- Set the wished action for the wished instrument:
done!
Ex. You want a guitar solo to start at bar one, in the second chorus and stop at bar 24 in the same chorus.
- create the solo and check that it works (solo will then start immediately at the fist bar of chorus 1 up to last bar of the song.
- right click on bar one of the first chorus and choose "bar settings".
- choose chorus one and set the solo instrument (for ex guitar) to mute.
- right click on bar one again, set chorus 2 and choose "back to normal" settings for the same guitar.
- choose last bar of the song, right click to bar settings again and set the solo instrument to mute in the second chorus at bar 24 (in my exemple).
That's it!

Bar settings will do it but the easier way to accomplish this is to use a DAW. Export the full tracks and then put them into the DAW as individual tracks and use volume control envelopes to do what you want.
