Thank's for all ur input Mike... I am back with a fresh start. and I have done all what u wrote here.First I encounter again is that the soloist track continue to refuse to save the Kontakt sound. (Now updated to 6.2.2) Another strange thing is that I have erased all volume change in the track display window. The volume in Kontakt keep on changing. So I checked in the Midi Monitor window and yes, there coming a volume change there. So where the heck is it coming from? And how do I get rid of it ? It destroy my song !

Well you got me beat I think.
did you try saving as special including patches etc.
As for the volume changes that could be caused by 2 different tracks in BIAB using the same channel, that way volume changes on say one of the style tracks could change the volume on your track
Check under options channels and make sure you are not using a channel used by BIAB style part for your midi track, As I say 4 and 8 should be melody and soloist
As you will notice channel one is not used by Biab parts that is why you can use it as a forced midi channel
Best give each track its own channel and take note of the defaults for melody and soloist after that 11-16 but you will have run out of tracks by then unless in Realband.
Something squiffy here somewhere!

This is utterly strange.. This channels thing does obviously not work the way it's suppose to for me...
But I found a work around. I changed the melody setting to channel 1 in the channel option window, then forced the VSTi window to channel 1 also. Then I moved the soloist track to the melody track and set it to channel 8 there. Saved it as audio, and at least now it gives sound from Kontakt in that channel.. So why the heck does it not gives sound from the soloist track???? And yes, I have the latest update... Do I need to download a new BiaB 2018, PG-Music? Could it be something wrong with my BiaB?
Not sure what u mean by; "did you try saving as special including patches etc." Could not find any option for that for audio...

It is under the file menu save special pop out window top item save file with Patches and Harmony,
As for the channel thing the above that you say will make audio on the melody track so it will no longer be concerned with channels as it is playing a recording, and not midi data from Kontakt. But a audio recording of it.
When I do this I input my melody on one track melody.
Make a copy of the melody on the other track by EDIT COPY SPECIAL
COPY / MOVE TRACKS, in the window leave all channels selected it will offer to copy from the melody to soloist, so this is good. The channels mentioned here are the ones in the midi data that may be on the midi if it is a multi track midi on the melody channel,
Do not confuse this with the channel that BiAB is sending the melody track to Kontakt on 4
Leave the channel options at their default in the channel window 4 melody 8 soloist
And set Kontakt to match each track.
Good luck
When happy I just save the file as a mgu this is automatic under save and it works for me. I only suggest the save special option as you don’t seem to be able to save the soloist Kontakt instrument.

The reason "Forced MIDI Channel" didn't affect Sforzando is that Sforzando can only load one sound at a time, so will respond to notes on any MIDI channel. It's not multi-channel like Kontakt, so wouldn't behave the same way that Kontakt does.
Regarding Options - Preferences - Channels, you should not be messing with those channel numbers. This won't help you, I'd leave them all on the defaults, and simply use "Forced MIDI Channel", like I described previously.
Regarding volume changes, if you hit the # button in the Notation Window, you can access the MIDI Event List, that's where these volume changes will be hiding, you can delete them there.
Is Band-in-a-Box still crashing when you try to assign Kontakt to the Soloist track?
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how you currently have things set up, and what exactly is going wrong at the moment. If you're able to contact us directly through the Live Help (chat) feature on our website during tech support hours, I'll be happy to go go over your settings with you, and even connect to your computer via TeamViewer if needed. We'll probably get everything sorted in 20 minutes that way.

PG Music Ok, thank's a lot Kent for trying to help me out here again. As I just wrote in the other post, I found the reason and now it works with the sound out from Kontakt.. I never had to change anything before, so I was surprised to find that i needed to use the WAS sound driver. It is probably a Kontakt thing... So I will now change the title of this post to SOLVED...;)

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums!
