I looked in Help and couldn't find anything and this might be BiaB 101, so I apologize in advance.
Is there a way to increase the bpm for when a song goes to the 'B' section?
Either by percentage or a specific number?
Will it work for Midi or R/Ts?
Is this possible now in 2010?
(Sorry, Mac, no I have not memorized all the 2010 features.) 
I see there is a place to increase tempo for one of the choruses, but I don't want to do that.
Just have it kick in when it goes from "A" to "B."

For Midi it should be no problem. Click on the bar, hit F5, and change your tempo. If you are using RDs or RTs, you'll probably have a problem if it is a big change. Some style have double time feel at B. One that comes to mind is BRUBKBAL.
If you want to use RDs or RTs, best bet is to use RealBand.

In F5, as mentioned previosuly, I only saw how to change tempo for a whole chorus (pass-through) of a song.
I didn't see how to change it for just the B section.
Can you be more specific?
(Yes, I'm only thinking of between a five or ten BPM change.)
So... this can be done in RB?

When you press F5 on the bar where the "B" marker is, you should get a dialog box for which to make "bar" settings. The tempo changes are for that bar (and carry through until it changes). So, if you want the song to go back to original tempo when it go back to the beginning ("A" section), you should press F5 on that bar and explicitly set the tempo there as well. Keep in mind that these explicit tempo settings will over-ride the overall song setting you see on the main screen. Once you make the setting, you should see a red box around the bars you change, so you'll know there is a setting change there.
In RealBand, you can change the tempos with the tempo map.
One thing I should mention for requests like this. What I do is jut save the song, then play around with these settings to see what happens. As long as I don't save the song (to the same name) again, I haven't messed up anything, but I will definitely learn a new skill.

I have a couple of songs that are mostly RealTracks that have a completely different feel and tempo for the bridge . What I did was just create a whole new song that enabled the bridge to play as I wanted and then save as seperate wav files and load both versions into Real Band deleting all of the bridge files except what was needed
It's actually quite pain free
