I find this also a must do regarding power plans, and especially if you use USB for active external drives and/or audio: De-select Power management for EACH USB hub (via right click on properties): This is good advice. Remember that every Win 10 update may reset these USB settings. I have had Win 10 updates reset all, some, or none of them. If I have problems after an update this is the first thing that I check. YMMV
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"
