So it's interesting that we haven't heard a lot about this on the PGMusic site (I think I saw one forum thread referencing it).

Notation Composer now let's you create (MIDI only) accompaniment using a BIAB plugin within the program. That MIDI can then be exported out to load into a DAW.

Notation Composer gives you a 60 day 15-style demo period, but if you buy it, you receive 150 styles. It will also allow you to use other MIDI styles provided by PGMusic and other 3rd party BIAB MIDI styles.

It seems that something like this could be a precursor to a BIAB VSTi that folks keep asking about. Anyway, below is the email I received, since I am a licensed Notation Composer user. You have to have purchased Notation Composer in order to use this $69 add-in. You can see there are some video demo links below on how it works.

If you are not interested simply uninstall the Band-in-a-Box trial plugin and Composer will not show the Band-in-a-Box tab anymore.

Some people have already tested the Band-in-a-Box feature and have posted feedback in our user forum. Please see at
https://www.notation.com/vb-forum/ and search for "Band-in-a-Box".

We have set the trial time of the Band-in-a-Box plugin for 60 days starting from the installation of Composer 3.1. Don't miss this opportunity to investigate whether this feature is valuable for your music-making needs.

Best regards,
