In checking with Support, it appears that the only way to duplicate Bar Based Lyrics is to:
- click in the "Bar Lyrics" layer to select that portion of the bar
- swipe over the text there to highlight the lyrics
- use CTRL+C to copy the lyrics to the clipboard
- move your cursor to the bar-based lyric section where you want the text (lyrics) to be placed
- use CTRL+V to paste the lyrics to the new location
As far as I can tell, you must do that FOR EVERY BAR.
Seems unnecessarily complex and awkward, given the fact that the funcion Edit > Copy Special > Copy From .. To already exists, and indeed has a check box for "Copy Lyrics", and can be used for multiple bars.
I wish that check box worked for Bar Based Lyrics.
(If I've missed something or there's a workaround, please advise.)
