Lawrence
You are on a great roll. Loved it. Superb vocal and some terrific songwriting. Great sound - and that muted acoustic sounds great. Loved the dynamics - the percussion vocal part was inspired.
Wonderful.
Peter Thank you. I love what BIAB have been doing with Acoustic Guitar. They are very inspiring.

HI Lawrence,
Man, I really like this! And yes, that muted acoustic is a great choice - a perfect fit for a perfect lyric. And what a vocal! I could write accolades about this terrific song endlessly. But I'll sum it up and say - "This is damned good!"
Alan Thank you Alan.

A great track Lawrence, a perfect use of RealTracks. I liked the groove and the 'up close' sounds; both a perfect match for the lyrics.
John Thank you John. I love when I can achieve that "up close" sound too.

I enjoyed this.
A simple writing style throwback to years past, but done so well.
Nice pauses in there too.
One thing I would have done different..... in the section where it breaks down to drums and vox.... I might would have layed in a few other claps with some variations in the timing to make it sound like a larger crowd clapping along.
Great job Thank you Herb. I'm going to take a second look at the hand claps.

Very catchy upbeat sing along kind of song. Loved the question of the chorus, makes one think Hmmmm, what if. The pauses are nice points of reflection. Very different and interesting. Good job!! Thank you Donna. I was searching for that sing-along vibe.

What a jam! Love the soaring guitars on this. Really reminiscent of 70's rock to me. Not to mention, the vocals fit perfectly. The kind of tune I'd imagine sounding unreal in a live setting. Good work, and thanks for sharing Deryk, thank you. Yes, I can see it rocking a live gig too.

Love that N'awlins gospel soul spice I hear in this song. Write, arranging, vocal and production sound great! Great job Lawrence. And it's always so cool when an orphan line becomes inspiration for a great new song. Yes, it's always good to salvage something from something that's not working. Thank you.

"You can embrace it with a smile you can jump back in denial"
Great line of many....
It sounds as good, often better than the Americana songs Apple Music curates for us.
The "band" shows off a fine selection of RT/RD tracks and the mix is spot on.
And what to say about the vocal? Your voice remains one of our top favorites -- not just on the board but anywhere.
Great song and a great addition to our playlist!

Great catchy upbeat song both rhytmically and melodically. Very enjoyable lyrics and vocals. Great selection of instruments: the acoustic guitar really carries the song, but those electric guitars also bring very nice color to it.

"I have two friends ask me why I write so many "suicidal" songs" Not at all, we like'm!
This indeed is a completely different sound, but it has the professional Lawrence signature all over it. Top notch vocals as always and we love that rhythm guitar. The general rhythm of the song is also spot on.

Lawrence,
Super Vocal! What a nice groove. Breaks are very effective. As floyd says, a great combination of RTs to produce an awesome sound! Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Pumped and rocking a great listen Lawrence!!! Cliff Thank you Cliff. This was a very catchy song, and I really enjoy the lyrics. Thanks for sharing! Thank you for the kind words. This is candy to my ears: Foot tapping, sing along musical goodness. Glad you enjoyed it! Loved the vocal delivery on this song. Super raspy tone in your voice Lawrence. Excellent lyric and backtrack. Guitar was very cool. Well done Thank you Scott. What a great song! I really enjoyed listening to this.
I didn't really understand/like the part with the drums alone, but apart from that I truly enjoyed all of it.
You have a great voice and excellent skills in composing music.
Will Thank you Will. The drums, vocal and claps harkens back to a southern church gospel vibe. Loved this. All the sweet breaks and changes kept this eternally fresh. Great voice, and a catchy and meaningful lyric. Tangmo, thank you. Lawrence..I’m sure there is a technical term for the construction you are using, where the first lyric line is repeated exactly, but with a slightly different harmonic. Whatever it’s called, it’s really effective here, so great choice in architecture! Then your bridge is less staccato and more legato, so great offset. I guess I haven’t been keeping track of dark overtones of your prior work, but if you were trying to swing upbeat, you done good! Really liked this end to end. Great work! Thank you for listening and for your comments. I don't know what the technique is but I just wrote it how I felt it. Hi gruverider,
that's a very nice song, wow, very catchy. And I do love the almost audacious combination of RealTracks, adding that funky guitar was a brilliant idea. (To me the unlimited number of RT combinations aside from the regular styles are whaz make BB and RT so awesome).
And I realy dig the way you sing - no doubt your heart and your mouth get along like a house on fire. Well, well done !!!
Cheers,
Stefan Thank you very much for your comments Stefan! Lawrence,
Very cool song.
Your vocals are (as always) enviable.
A great combination of RTs to produce an awesome sound!
The mix is superb!
I know no better compliment than... Great MUSIC!
fj Thank you Floyd. Your comments are always helpful.

Man you can really deliver the goods. The mix is astonishingly clean and the arrangement with the adds and the build works to perfection. The break is really nice and the guitar outdo is cool. Super, Tom
