Hello all,
I just started with BIAB 2018. I did use the 2010 version in the past, but didn't really dig into the program or learn many functions. Now I have more interest and am exploring more of BIAB's features.
Is it possible to have a song open in BIAB, and close that song without leaving the program?

Hi Joel, Welcome to the forums. BIAB always requires a chord sheet to be open. Normally, this is the one that a user is working on. That chord sheet is closed when either... (a) a different song is opened (b) the user selects "File | New" to set up a new, blank chord sheet If you want to effectively 'close' an existing song without opening another, the (b) method above is the one I'd use. Hi Noel, Thank you for your speedy reply. I like your option "B". For my immediate needs, I want to feel free to click through BIAB without damaging any song files (switching style, instruments, chords, etc). Thanks again. I'l see you around the forums. ` Joel

Yep.... you can save it first and then close it by opening a new song project.

Actually, this one has bugged me for years about BIAB. Most programs give you an option to close the project with a fresh screen or exit the program. Seems like such a simple thing.
