This is a nice feature that I didn't really know about, Callie. To take this one step further, I would really like to have as an option the names of the suggested scales displayed for the duration of a chord or chord sequence (e.g. a ii-V-I) in order to make the mental shift to that scale when improvising instead of looking at notes or listening to an ascending scale. Obviously, the generated scales are based on specific algorithms so why not just display the name of the scale? I've been able to successfully enter scale/mode names manually in place of lyrics, but it would be great if some kind of a "scale options" system were created so we could review and select our preferred scale choices. These suggestions could range from strictly diatonic to more colorful to completely outside...in other words, ranging from consonant to dissonant.

There are applications designed specifically for scale suggestion, such as http://jazzscalesuggester.com/ and https://sourceforge.net/projects/impro-visor/reviewsImpro-Visor but it would be fantastic if this type of system could be integrated into BIAB.
