I note RB separates them, but how do I get that to BIAB,
in one easy step? Stay in RB .. you'll be happier. Sounds to me like you are trying to make BiaB do things it wasn't designed to do, and RB was. I'm willing to spend a little more time in RB with a lot more control. BiaB is not RB and vice-versa They exist as different apps because they are indeed different apps. You can not do everything in BiaB that you can in RB. And the reverse is also true, but for me 'whole song generating speed' is about all BiaB has over RB. After the initial song idea is done in BiaB, everything else has more/better options in RB. At least for my work flow.
