You did a terrific job on this. A really nice mix.
That solo guitar RT is a real gem (I think) that not many people have used. It does SO many different things, so you have to "work with it" a lot to get something this cohesive - but well worth the effort here... Super. The added effects sound great, too...

fj Hi Floyd, Yeah that track meanders a lot, as I mentioned to Greg. Gotta rope it in once in a while. I tried not to overdo the effects. A bit of delay with short decay and just enough flange that it's barely noticeable in the phones. The version of that track I used was number 17 out of 22 variations. Glad you enjoyed it. Alan,
The whole sound is wonderful.
And it is a very unique sound.
Basically it is written by jazz chord progression, but the guitar is rock and the drum is very tight.
The added delay and flange to the guitar are very comfortable.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

I don’t gravitate to instrumentals generally, but this is a great mix and kept my interest. Some killer guitar work on this which you’ve laid down well. Cool and slick listen--enjoyed it!

Hello Deej, I am honored you chose to hear this one out. I appreciate that so much. And many thanks for the nice comments. It was actually a real track , rather than me playing the lead. Once upon a year I was pretty good. but I now have Focal Dystonia which is robbing me of my skills. No complaints, though - I had a 50+ year run of making music with some stellar musicians. very nice and sophisticated. Is that the sound of the RT solo right outa the box  or did you add any effects? If so did you use the DI option (I didn't look it up to see if it has one)? I ask all that because the tone is great. Well done and enjoyable! J&B Hey! Hope all is well with ya'll. We've been spending more time at the doctors' offices and at the hospital than at home the past couple of weeks. Two appts today, one tomorrow and one FridaY. That's a typical week for us in recent months - also, part of my scarcity on the forum recently. Glad ya liked it - thanks! As far as the effects - some delay with a short decay and so little flange you can barely hear it - but just enough to make a difference. We used BIAB's indigenous plugins. They usually work pretty good for me. I bumped the upper EQ a small amount. The mild distortion is already in the track. I almost always bump the higher EQ just a little when I use the flanger - the individual notes aren't quite as muddled. I then do a mils compression. Hope that answered your question.
