My first go-round with this song, I had a 'middle' portion that was fast, like the end...but I could never sing the words properly at the speed, so I set this one aside for a long time. Recently, I decided on 'surgery', and added the slow middle section, and it's worked out much better..but I almost gave up on it as a "nice idea, but not do-able". Ray: I will check out The Residents, I don't know them. Musically, I was following the influence of the Brazilian percussionist/musician Airto (eye-ear-toe). The lyric story attempts to relate to the 'tilma of Juan Diego'..you can look it up if interested. Thanks again, all!
