If you rebuild your song lists then you will lose the sort order. No fix has been announced for this yet in BIAB 2017 (and one may not be made available). Not sure about 2018. I’ve had the same issue since MacOS 10.13, which introduced the APFS file system. My workaround was to create an HFS+ disk image and keep my Song folder on that.
