Currently the chord picker completely ignores the current ROOT and CHORD TYPE for the selected bar+chord position being edited in CHORD OPTIONS.

If CHORD OPTIONS can reflect the exact current chord on a bar then there is no reason at all why the chord-picker dialog when opened up front the CHORD OPTIONS dialog - should also default to the current ROOT and CHORD being edited.

So often one merely wants to select a complex chord type from the popup chord-selector but leave the ROOT the same.

Surely this kind of detail should have been put right in BIAB years ago.

Any other decent programmer or project manager or product manager would insist on such irritating details being fixed by now.

I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PICK THE ROOT AND CHORD TYPE ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Sloppy lazy GUI and user-interaction programming.

Does the project-manager or person who works on the Mac version actually care about the app he is paid to maintain and update ? Or does he/she simply not give a damn any more and is biding time until retirement ??????
