Interesting question which can bring up a lot of real life and hypothetical situations, eg two brothers or sisters living in the same house, a computer each, one buys biab every year has three activations, does he activate a copy on his brother/sisters machine as well for him/her to use?

Now maybe he can, if he owns his brothers/sisters computer?

I would think that since the EULA is usually checked over by lawyers, or is it? that the above question is covered.

I look upon someone maybe selling their old version on ebay, just to recoup some cash as a different matter altogether, as I believe in that case you have to transfer the whole licence to use it to the buyer, including the current years one.

This is just my understanding of what I remember of the threads in question, so don't take it as fact.
