Hello,
Upgrading for me will depend on three main factors:
DO THESE FUNCTIONS WORK ?
1. Does Save as > make video , in biab work now?
2. Do layers/ text in the chord sheet, transfer to REAL BAND?
3. Do PART MAKERS in biab chord sheet, transfer to REAL BAND?

No. The focus this time is on a 64 bit version of Biab plus making Biab a VST that works with a DAW. This means if you're using Reaper, Studio One, Sonar, Cubase, whatever Biab is now considered an "instrument" and can be used in that DAW. Considering Real Band while very useful still does not have all the functions of Biab as you pointed out, the Biab VST plugin does.
If you've been reading these forums over the last few years, this is huge news.

thanks for reply. Unfortunately I'm not happy with
biab 2019.
First, getting out of realband? That's cool.
2 second, there ARE NO LYRICS -- in the VST plugin!!!!
Ouch !
{ as usual biab seems to forget singers}
So even though I'm a DAW user, I cant see using the plugin!!! I don't like it.
So it's BACK to regular biab for me. I need lyrics.
I need lyrics in the chord sheet { layers about the
chords}
I need to make a video of my chord sheet with the lyrics! { is that working , with audio properly synced to video anyone? }

KGU, 1) I was creating videos just a month or so back in 2018 using the "Save As" button. I'm not sure what you mean about it not working. Could you please give a little more information? 2) Chordsheet layers are not yet part of Realband. 3) In Realband, I've just opened a song file I created in BIAB using A/B/C/D partmarkers. all the chordsheet videos I make in 2018. Different video codecs, different audio codecs don't matter
2) Chordsheet layers are not yet part of Realband.

...........I'm really not too impressed with realband.
The vst 2019 PLUGIN would have been great, for me, because I prefer DAWS over realband.
......... But alas--- NO LYRICS IN THE PLUGIN.------ Thats a bust for me. Zero. cant use it. nada.
............Do the videos and audios from save as video
in biab 2019 work perfectly? In sync? That would be my only reason to upgrade at this point,

I agree lyrics are a big deal to a lot of users. The VST is brand new, maybe lyrics are already in the pipeline.

Can't help you with the RB problems but I've been making BIAB videos for some months and never had a problem with the audio being out of sync with the video.
If they sync up in BIAB itself, they should be fine in the video.
I've been using the defaults in the Create Video window.
There was a point where I couldn't get the video to display AT ALL, only audio. Then there was a point where it would play the audio and video (sync'd) but would only play one "screen full" and wouldn't scroll.
I started a thread on this forum and got a ton of help, including info from Peter himself. You may want to do a search and see if you can track it down.
I'm talking about BIAB 2018, Build 520. Don't have 2019 yet.

Right, the lyrics in notation videos is something we currently don’t support but I agree that we should. If we make lyrics show on the notation window, then they,would show in video as well.
It is added to the todo list.
