I don’t want to muddy the waters but in case you do not know.
The thru instrument is sent on ch 4 to the internal vsti if the use vsti dxi box is ticked in midi settings ,and if the route midi thru to midi driver is cleared.
However any midi recorded goes to the melody of soloist tracks
The melody is sent to ch4 the soloist to ch8
Therefore to hear the voice while you are recording that you will hear on playback,
You need to sett thru and say melody to the same voice.
