I can understand Gerry’s point if the product has an Aussie outlet that was being bypassed (Aussie businesses missing a sale because of the addition of GST puts up the price) but in this case it is not. Even ScoMo understands for some of these non Aussie companies without an Aussie outlet the cost of collection of GST is probably higher than the return. Do the Indian Scammers collect GST on behalf of the ATO? They often claim to be local I guess they should.
