Hi Greg,

Your use of Band-in-a=Box to produce sheets to hand out to the band is one of the most popular uses of the software, although I sometimes think that BiaB Marketing are more interested in the backing for solo performers. Certainly that seems to have been the development direction in recent years, often forgetting the bulk of the users. Let me say, however, that Biab is still the very best and quickest way to produce readable Lead Sheets for my Dixieland Jazz bands.

I believe the best option for you is to print a sheet with just one clef (either treble or bass), include note-based lyrics and also enter any instructions using the Right click "Insert Section Text Event" to add those other instruction you want. Bar-Based Section Letters is also very useful.

Remember also that you have multiple choices for staff size, lyric and instruction font size and style etc.

Being able to print out so easily for instruments in Bb and Eb is another superb feature.

I know all my guys like to see the melody, lyrics and chords on their sheets. And our Lead Sheets using BiaB are the envy of many other jazz bands. Especially when I take them to the jazz festivals.
