Got 2019plus and dismayed to find it won't now render anything at all to wav.its some kind of weird file name now-a W file.Has the procedure changed or is it a massive bug? JohnJohnJohn Veteran J Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 3,581	Wendy, I'm not sure but I think I read a post where this was a known bug and until it is fixed you can do the render and then rename the rendered file(s) to add the .wav extension. Again, I'm not sure as I have not installed 2019 yet but it might be worth a try.

Just reporting that the issue described here does not apply to my situation. Everything is running smooth so far (using the latest Build, of course). Kent - PG Music PG Music Staff K Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 1,382	Hi, I found that this happens if I render individual tracks by right-clicking on the track name and going to Track Actions - Save Track as WAV File, but rendering by clicking the WAV button or the Audio menu, then Render Song to Audio File works fine, and so does dragging and dropping. Also, like John mentioned, renaming the file to .WAV should fix it too. Thanks Kent PG Music

It's just that the naming of the file is incorrect and a programmer left off the "av" after the W when they were writing the file-type/naming code. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
