Hi All,
Here is a song about waking up to the alarm clock with a beautiful tune in my head.
Throughout the Day I make the music, write the words down ,teach Angels how to sing it,record it and the at the end of the day with Heaven and Earth singing a song I originally got from God in my sleep I can go back to bed with my work complete.A perfect Circle!
I tried to add a bit of Vangelis feel/sound to it.
All the tracks are midi generated by BIAB and played over by Arturia and sampletank.
One loop is the old school bell and one realtrack Ah chorus by Shelley Justice(which I loved,Shelley ur brill)
Hope you enjoy it and dont let this lullaby make you sleep.

Hugh… I thought this was incredible!

Kind of a free form stream-of-consciousness quasi angelic chant. So creative in composition, with the repeating vocal phrases...loved everything about it.

I love these compositions about creating songs..they live on two levels: the song itself, which is a process of getting what is in your head “out” and “real-ized” (made real)...as well as the lyric story talking about just that process and concept...excellent work!

Keep talking with the angels and bringing outstanding, inventive works like this!

That's the best thing I've heard in my headphones for a long time! To say it's imaginative and original is a gross under statement. It's a beautiful piece of work Hugh. The vocal sounds are fabulous. A lovely and moving listen.

Tano Thanks for the complimenting the song. Its great to get positive feedback for it from you and Scott and John .When I realized it should be a lullaby of sorts that changed everything and I began to look at the song the way a baby would look at shapes made from a nursery light or lamp(wonderment).I asked the question to myself ,Could you fall asleep to this song?Amazing moment creatively for me when the verse "With my work now complete I can sleep and heaven and earth can sing from the same hymn sheet" worked it way out ....thanks Hugh

Hi Torrey,
Thanks for listening and ur comments. What I thought the song was going to be when I had it in midi form a couple of years back is 180 degrees different than what it ended.I seem always to start with a Rock song and end with a melodic soft panaromic picture painting song.Glad you enjoyed it Hugh

Extremely inventive and quite unlike any Band In A Box song I've heard.
Excellent work.
