Always had better luck with the Samsung EVO line versus the Intel line. Also, I think that you will find M.2 or PCIe NvMe drives to be faster than 2.5" SATA SSD's. The downside is that they tend to cost a bit more and you need a newer system that can handle them, but for hard drive intensive work or fast reads / writes, they are hard to beat. YMMV Jeff Just installed the BIAB AP lot on a 6TB WD Black internal SATA drive partition .... seems really fast so far ... SSD costs are about 20-30 times higher, don't think it's worth the money yet ....
