I'm a HUGE fan 'o the Dan as well (as you may have noted from my handle). In fact, while my favorites change with the times, Steely Dan has been my all-time favorite band over the years.
Me too... I just love 'em, and the Fagen solo projects as well... "The Nightfly" is still one of my favorite albums, even after all these decades... Oh yeah! Interestingly, may first exposure to Fagen was hearing I.G.Y. on the radio when I was about 12/13 in school. The tune got stuck in my head, but I didn't catch the DJ saying who the artist was. So I literally went to every person in my school that spoke English (this was in Israel) and hummed/sang the song to each until I found someone who could tell me what it was! True story
