Wendy, I don't know exactly what to say to you because I don't know your level of understanding of this stuff. Biab is really two separate programs, one MIDI based and one RT based. They work totally different from each other behind the scenes. You are correct in your comments about PG advertising and pushing the RT's because they're easy to work with but since they are prerecorded audio files, they are hard to change. I'm not going to try to explain that, just accept it. How well an RT works with your song depends on so many things, it's useless to try to explain it.

When we mean when we say switch to midi is midi gives you full control but you have to know how to do it. I appreciate you don't want to learn how to do that but if an RT isn't doing it for you, then you have two choices. Learn midi or just live with the RT result.

Biab is but one tool in your music production tool kit. Very few here just use Biab ONLY and nothing else. That can work great until someone runs into an issue like the one you're talking about. When that happens just load up a midi synth, assign it to that track and give it a go. Or, many here will drag all the tracks into a DAW and use a midi synth there for that track. Or, use Real Band for that. You have all the tools you need to correct that track.

This is really no big deal, Wendy. It's not false advertising or anything like that because Biab works just great with MIDI but if you're not happy, get your refund.

Bob
