If you're using RealBand, first check out +++ THIS +++ post from Alyssa of PG Music. She most likely has the correct answer but if she doesn't I've made a suggestion down below.

Using Band-in-a-Box most (as far as I know all but there are some RealDrums I haven't used) RealDrums include an audio count-in.

The MIDI count-in is generated by the default Windows MIDI sound module not the DXI or VST soft synth provided by PG Music or some other software developer. A screenshot of your MIDI Driver Window may prove very useful for troubleshooting your issue. I've included a screenshot of mine for comparison.

On a Windows computer you can press Ctrl + E to open the "Preferences ..." window then select the MIDI DRIVER button to open the MIDI driver window.

Then press Alt + PrntScr to capture a screenshot of the MIDI driver window to the Windows clipboard.

Then, open a graphic program, such as Irfanview available for free +++ HERE +++.

Press Ctrl + V to paste the image to the graphic viewer.

Save the image as a jpg file to your desktop.

Press the New Reply button to open the full reply window and look for the File Manger link in the Post Options. This action opens a file browser window.

Use the steps marked 1, 2, & 3 to associate your screenshot with your post.
