BIAB set to WAS by default and audio is good. Prior to this only MME would work without distortion. The VSTi3 audio is running fine in Reaper Win10-64 and now has auto repeat of the song, although only one repeat. Still no output control. EDIT: Oops... spoke to soon - the auto repeat stopped working.
