This is an awesome tune Alan. Definitely got my dancing shoes on. Vocal was just excellent. Your guitar work was just superb. Loved the slide. Crazy tone. The solo was just awesome. rocker Al guy sounds fine!
Your infallible ear for a classic sounding song shows up again- this is excellent rocker.

As I've said many times, I like almost all genres of music. MNy philosophy os, for the most part, there's not a lot of bad music ... just decent music played poorly. Best to you. Alan

Now don’t go and hurt yourself! Makes a body want to move. Great band and you seem to squeeze all the tone out those BIAB instruments. Well sung in your uniquely convincing way. Good one, Tom Howdy Tom, Haven't hurt myself yet. Almost 72 years old and only been in the hospital twice - when I got shot up in Vietnam and when they removed the tumor in my colon a few years back. I used to dance a lot - contrary to most musicians - and I'm actually a pretty decent dancer. Never hurt myself dancing - yet! I just slipped back into the halcyon days of yore listening to this song. Great rocker. All the instruments meld together well with the grizzled rocker vocals.  Hello Ez, Those were some pretty good times to to be transported back to - at least for me they were. I was playing in a band 25 - 28 nights a month and bringing in some serious green. And having a great time doing it. My voice is the aonly thing that's grisled at my age - mostly the stuff between my forehead and my toes. Many thansk for the listen ad very nice comments. Alan, no apologies needed for any of this...you hit the "style" ball right out of the park!
Nicely architected track, elements hitting on all cylinders to get our juices flowing and feets moving'.
Only feedback I could provide is that it sounded like your vocal got drowned out in a couple of places by the strong instrumentals..you could bring the voice forward a bit.
Other than that, really enjoyed listening, and I like the wide diversity of your musical interests!

I went back and listen to a couple of Bob Seger songs, sine that's the feel I get for this one, and found the vocals were slightly buried - sane with some of the Eagles song. Several other folks, on and off the forum, have suggested the Bob Seger reference. so I guess that's an accurate analogy. I didn't set out to make a "Seger-sounding-song" but it just kind of evolved in that direction as I added and subtracted various backing tracks. Glad ya l8ked it - thanks! Alan

there's definitely no need to be that self-critical ! It's just another great song of yours with a perfect backing track, great, great work on the guitar(s) and to me your vocals fit in perfectly.
