First Time AgainA melancholy, mid-slow number written for a scene in one of my novels. In the scene, a young lady who just emerged from a coma with pure retrograde amnesia (can't remember anything prior to her accident) is looking through a scrapbook of family photos. She sees herself but can't recognize anyone other than what she's been told. Some photos make her smile - some bring tears to her eyes. As she turns the pages, she thinks to herself "This is my first time to see these photos - again." This song attempts to capture her feelings as she browses the photo album. Given this song attempts to capture her inner thoughts, I used a little extra reverb on the reso.
