A few thoughts that might help.
1. Check what audio driver your Soundcard is using. It's probably WAS. If so, change to MME or ASIO and see if that makes a difference. (I use MME.)
2. Do you run BIAB in "Run as administrator" mode? This is recommended by PG Music. To set this mode, right-click on the startup shortcut, select 'Properties' and under the 'Compatibility' tab set the "Run as admin" option. (Note: Run As Administrator is different from logging-in into your computer as Administrator.)
3. I always exclude the \bb and \Realband directories from being checked by my antivirus software. This helps with speed and stops the AV software interfering or stopping processes.
Hope one of these thoughts help.
