I found that GUI problems with plugins sometimes can be fixed with the latest graphics drivers, Visual basics, Download and install them all fresh from microsoft, both x86 and x64 versions. Deinstall the old ones first, and install in a sequential order; VSbasic 2015 won't install over 2017 BTW. Also for DotNet.
This as you run Windows 10 64 bit. 1803 (Fall Creators) runs fine; i wouldn't install a later Windows 10 version BTW. Switch off Windows Update with Windows Update Switch if needed.
Then if your graphics drivers/settings allow it: switch off hardware acceleration ...
I bought Sampletank 2 and 3 and Omnisynth in the past, and always had IKmultimedia problems due their activation. -F
I'll say the opposite, DO NOT turn off windows updates. Some like you Frank hate them but from everything I've read, it's just not good practice. We need those updates and if one occasionally causes a problem it's never been a big deal to fix it.
Beatmaster, ST3 is the first thing I tried with BB64 and it works fine. Are you familiar with ST3, you've used it before?

I use 360 TS premium to manage the updating business. It notifies when there are important ones, downloads them at MY COMMAND ONLY, instead of windows update ruining a proper running windows setup 'automatically'. And hurray, omits all microsoft's unnecessary stuff one doesn't really need. In the past turning windows update on caused me serious problems. So i don't need no aftermath fixes. .... F
Is BIAB set to run in "Run as administrator" mode? I haven't used Sampletank for a long time but when I last tried it, it needed BIAB to be "Run as administrator" (i.e. right-click on shortcut and choose that option or set it permanently under "right-click on shortcut | Properties | Compatibility")
Rather than going on a possible fruitless snipe hunt with BB64, keep on using BB32 with Jbridge then. You're not losing any functionality at all, both versions run the same. The only users who report that the 64 bit version is better for them are those that are running really large VST software libraries that for whatever reason Jbridge isn't great for.
If you're not at that level as a power user you're not giving up a thing, just stay with 32 bit.
running really large VST software libraries ?. what are these ?. Can you purchase them if so could you let me know were from.
Thanks
Merry xmas

Some of the libraries are quite a fair size Well Requiem Light by Tone hammer is a 3.2 G B library for Kontakt (full) Allowing you to assemble Latin phrases and vowels etc into music compositions via a midi keyboard along with a whole host of male and female choirs and choral articulations. You may well like this watch it all 12 mins.
The full Kontakt factory set of voices is 23 GB on its own. Load a few like that and that’s a lot of recourses available, not that you would ever use them all at the same time. But I have used up to 20 separate instances of Kontakt at the same time, an separate tracks using selections from many libraries.

Nice, but if you ever listened to a real choir, this stuff sounds a bit like it's coming from a cheap synth's 12bit sound chip ... Also on their demo page, Requiem Demo page; heard far better sampled stuff, but usually not very usable as as mostly the reverb is sampled with them. Bought Really Vox The Ladies 2 last year; still like it, but it's not really a choir unless you run a few at the same time ... .
I am definitely a power user. I use power saws, drills, toothbrush, etc. I even have two DC to AC power converters as well as a few Uninterruptible Power Supply!
Merry Christmas to all.

What I'm referring to and I'm not even sure if it applies is some users over the last few years who insist that JBridge isn't good enough to work with some of these large VST's when using BB32. One person in particular is a professional studio engineer who was overjoyed a few weeks ago when BB64 was released. I'm not at his level so I have to take his word for it that BB64 makes a difference for him. I have used ST3 a lot with JBridge with no issues whatsoever. The differences for probably 99% of all of us here is simply what plugins do you use or maybe want to use.
The first one is the Cakewalks TTS-1 synth. It's old tech but still sounds pretty good and it's free from Bandlab. It used to be available in 32 bit but not anymore. Since it's a DXi and not a VST, Jbridge will not work so if you want to use it you have to use BB64.
The next thing are the PG effects. They are only 32 bit. So if you like using them you can't use BB64 but Peter has said they're working on making them 64 bit.
Bottom line you need to understand the difference between a DXi and VST, know which ones you can't live without and decide if BB32 works for you or you really need BB64. If it's the latter then ok, we can help you with getting BB64 to play nice. If not then why bother? BB32 is sitting right there ready to go.
As I said earlier, all the functions we all know and love about Biab work exactly the same in either version, the only differences is with the plugins.

Another really good choir is the Symphonic Choirs from EastWest:
It requires an iLok account but that is not a problem anymore. Not only can you do the vowels you can also type in words, phrases and/or sentences and they will sing it. Also you do not need Kontakt as it comes with Play. Play is a little awkward but it does the job. It lists at $530 USD but is on sale now for $212. I have it and it is well worth the money when it is on sale.
