My elder brother was a multi-instrument talent. I once heard him pick up a toy ukulele, quickly tune it up and make it sound good.

His instrument of choice was the double neck pedal steel guitar and he was considered a world class player. He played on the Grand Ol' Opry and toured with Loretta Lynn, Jimmy C. Newman and Stonewall Jackson.

When he wasn't touring he worked in Nashville as a session musician and producer. He was a founding member of the +++ Steel Guitar Forum +++, good friends with +++ Buddy Emmons +++ and endorsed both +++ Emmons and Sho-Bud +++ steels (not at the same time as well as +++ Peavey Steel Guitar Amplifiers +++.
