hi has anyone have this working I get action on the mixer however no sound and in windows mixer I see action as well this works in many of my dawns anyone have theres working thanks eric

Eric,
Are you talking about BIAB 64-bit or 32-bit? In the meantime, have you tried setting the driver to MME to see if that makes a difference?
The audio driver setting is found under "Audio | Audio Drivers/Settings"

I remember a previous post on the forum about no sound ,but that was the sound canvas vsti, is that what you are using ?.
if so might try a search the forum, just a thought.

hi noel I tried that mcc always on and off no joy also beatmaster it is the vst it works in all my dawns not biab I have tried the 32bit no joy and 64 bit should work in biab 64 thanks eric If you are using 64 bit it seems something was broken in the 609 update with most vsti. Unfortunately I have not been able to get a response from tech support just yet

There was a post from a PG Music support person shortly after Roland released the 64 bit Sound Canvas VSTi indicating they couldn't get it to work with Band-in-a-Box. They were never able to resolve the issue.

As far as you can recall, was that with BIAB 64-bit or 32-bit?
The reason I ask is because it might have been a jBridge issue with BIAB 32-bit.

I downloaded the trial version of SC 64 VSTi and it worked fine on BB2018, the trial has expired but Coyote Forte sounded better I thought.

Noel That was with 32 bit Band-in-a-Box. 64 bit Band-in-a-Box did not exist then.

Per Kent in a different thread, previously, the only way to get 32-bit BIAB to work with the the Roland Sound Canvas VA (VST) was to have jbridge installed and load the 64-bit version of Sound Canvas. The 32-bit version of Sound Canvas didn't even work in the 32-bit BIAB (or RealBand).
Since we now have the 64-bit BIAB, I would think the 64-bit Sound Canvas would work natively. However, the problem may be related to the problems folks have been having running Kontakt and Sampletank. I would wait until Monday when the Build 610 patch comes out and see if it works. Or maybe backtrack to build 608 (not 609) and see if it works there.
