I did a search and couldn't find an answer that I could understand given my tech cluelessness. I am getting a cymbol strike whenever I have a hold, even if the drums are muted. Is there a workaround for this? I've tried every option I could come up with over the last two hours but haven't found anything.

I have griped about this from time to time. The problem is that BIAB treats a Hold and Shot the same way for RDs. Why the hold is still heard regardless of a mute instruction is unknown to me.

Try this workaround. If you don't want any drums to sound at the hold, using the Bar Settings (F5) mute the drums. Then enter the hold chord excluding the drum part C...d. Be sure to do the reverse Bar Settings when you want the drums to start back up.

Also, is there a way to get an instrument to hold as the end of the song and ring to the end? I can't seem to figure out how to pull it off. I've tried, shots, holds, rings, adding bars, muting bars...but haven't figured it out.
