If you have a 32bit OS the Standalone won't run as it's 64bit.
There a new 32bit plug being tested but it's hasn't got the FX one yet that the audio only app like Audacity and Audition need, so you will need to use the new Standalone 32bit (when released in a day or so) app until the 32bit FX plug is released.
