OP Rolle2 Newbie R Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 9	Hallo, über die Jahre kamen immer zum Jahreswechsel das Update zum Update zum ... Da nun ein Rechnerwechsel ansteht, steht die Frage im Raum, auch BIAB möglichst "schlank" umziehen zu lassen. Die Original-HDD von 2016 ist da - muss nun jedes Update zusätzlich installiert werden? Reicht die Basis 2016 und nur Update 2019, also schließt das Update 2019 alle Zwischenupdates (2016/17/18) für das Kernprogramm mit ein? Die Realtracks werde ich sicher "zusammensuchen" müssen. Als reg. User findet man auf der Downloadsite von PG leider auch kein "KomplettBuild". Das würde ich in dem Fall gerne downloaden und hätte dann alles zusammen. Mein Englisch ist zu dürftig, um die Frage zu klären. Falls aber jemand eine engl. Hilfe dazu kennt, würde ich mich natürlich bemühen. Hat jemand Erfahrungen zu dem Thema? Vielen Dank!

Brille Expert Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 942 Berlin, Germany	Hallo Rolle2, das Installationspaket des Upgrades installiert die vollständige Version des Programms selbst, du musst also nicht alle "Zwischenschritte" der vorherigen Versionen nachvollziehen. Das Upgradepaket ist also im Grunde der komplette Build, nach dem du fragst, im Downloadbereich deines Kontos ist das die Datei "Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 2019 Full (Windows) 1950 MB Download". Das betrifft aber, wie du richtig vermutest, nicht die mit den Zwischenversionen hinzugekommenen Style-Pakete. Je nach gekauftem 2019-Upgradeumfang findet du im Downloadbereich dann auch die mit 2019 gelieferten Stylepakete als Donwload. Der richtige Weg wäre also, die 2016er neu zu installieren und dann das 2019er Upgrade drüber mit allen ergänzenden Styles. Da kannst dir dann nach dem Programmstart unter "Help"-"What Add-ons do I have?" anzeigen lassen, welche Stylepakete du installiert hast und welche fehlen, weil du die Zwischenupdates ausgelassen hast. Nach BEdarf kannst du diese dann nachkaufen (oder auch nicht). Biab/RB latest build, German Language Pak, Win 10/64 Pro, 1 TB SSD, 32 GB RAM. Die Realtracks alleine sind ja schon eine Menge GB's u. mit "schlankem" Umzug wird es wohl nichts. Eine komplettes ISO (als reg. User) wäre aber der Bringer! Steinberg bekommt es für Halion u. Grand ja auch hin. Noch eine besinnliche Zeit und danke für Dein Engagement hier im Forum. MfG R2

Brille Expert Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 942 Berlin, Germany	Naja, Rolle, alles in eine Datei zu packen, fände ich schwierig. Das wäre dann je nach Pak eine Datei von bis zu 90 GB oder sogar mehr bei der audiophile-Version. Den Download dann fehlerfrei durchzuziehen, ist schwierig. Ich habe gelegentlich schon bei den jetzt "kleinen" Dateien von 2 GB Abbrüche. So kann man auch leichter mal ein einzelnes File nachladen, wenns aus irgendwelchen Gründen zerschossen ist. Hallo Brille, die Kollegen von PGMusic schreiben, es wäre notwendig, alle Updates aller Jahre (hier von 2016-2019) nacheinander zu installieren. Wenn mir das zu viel ist, soll ich die Variante mit HDD erwerben (148$), da wäre dann alles drauf. Ist ja auch mal interessant, dass so zu hören. Es bleibt ja nicht bei der genannten Summe, da bei Hardware immer der Versand + Zoll anfällt. Da meine BIAB-Aktivitäten bis 2005 zurückreichen,(und der Zwischenschritt 2016 nicht gewesen wäre), hätte man echt gut zu tun. Grüße

Brille Expert Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 942 Berlin, Germany	Die Auskunft vom PGSupport ist richtig, weil nur dann alle in der Zwischenzeit dazugekommen Style-Dateien und Hilfsprogramme mit installiert werden. Die beiden Hauptprogramme Band in a Box und Realband selbst aber sind nach meiner Erfahrung bislang stets, also auch als Upgrade, immer eine vollständige Installation mit allen notwendigen Zusatzdateien. Also: Tatsächlich benötigst du, wenn du auch alle aktuellen Styles haben willst, ein Vollpaket. Eine HDD-Version hat (neben dem Wert der HDD selbst) auch den Vorteil, dass du das Programm wahlweise auch direkt von der Platte starten kannst, also nicht auf deine lokale HD installieren musst. Die Einfuhr von Waren aus den USA ist bei einem Warenwert von unter 150 Euro zollfrei, es werden aber 19% Einfuhrumsatzsteuer erhoben. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
