I have watched the video which is useless, because it is from 2014 and with another UI. I've checked the new manual but cannot find this information. I've searched the forums, but only get 8 pages in return which all are about the problems with the new vst-plugin (again useless info for me in this case).
It is probably simple but I don't understand how to drag and drop single tracks into Cubase, so that I get an audio-track with each instrument (the bas, etc.)
I don't even know how to export a single track to a wav-file... I only know how to export the whole song.
Please help a stupid Danish guy. I have so many problems with BiaB 2019, that I need to get the tracks out and into a more stable platform.
The drop zone will display initially in orange (see image 3).
After the track has been prepared, the drop zone item will turn green (see image 4).
Click hold and drag from the green drop zone to your DAW.
Remember to change back from DAW mode after the steps have been completed!
Hopefully this will get you started.
(PS: No stupid questions get asked here)

My way to work is to close BB and open the file in real band. Everything gets rendered to audio, then it's simply a matter of choosing the RENDER option and export the track as a wave.
I had tried the copy and paste thing and it never did right for me. I always ended up with one track and 15 other blank tracks in my DAW. So I now just export one at a time and drop them into a folder..... then I import them into the DAW from there.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.com Add nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
All I do is open a window of BIAB, open my DAW (Cakewalk by Bandlab, formerly SONAR), and left click & hold on the Master radio button to drag that into Cakewalk. The BIAB song generates and the tracks all appear in Cakewalk. No Drop Station, no DAW Plugin*. It just works.
[Note: this does not work with all DAWs. Some Daws require the 'holding area' concept, which the Drop Station provides. But many do not if they make a copy of the audio as Cakewalk does. I prefer this method anyway since all the files I need will be saved in their own area by project name in the DAW.]
*The DAW Plugin is never required; it's just a convenience to make the BIAB window smaller (which you can do yourself) and keep it on top. If you just Snap the two windows to the two sides, each becomes half the monitor width. HOWEVER, there are important options that must be set, only once, in Preferences, DAW Plugin, first four check boxes. And read the helpful instructions there in the Plugin Settings dialog box.

Sorry for answering a bit late. We are in different time zones and I also had to work before I could get back to the forum. Also sorry for posting in this forum - it should have been in the "Beginners forum".
Videotrack, you saved my life - it works perfectly. Thank you for that very good explanation. I did two things wrong yesterday: I tried to drag from the mixer instead of from the horizontal bar with the instruments and I tried to drag to the DAW-box - not the WAV-box. Got the tracks inside Cubase now!
@Matt I actually tried your method first as that of course would have been quicker, so I went to preferences and checked the box which will split the master into the individual tracks and then I tried to drag the master directly into Cubase. First I thought it would work as BiaB was rendering, etc. but in the end - after 30 seconds or so - I got a message from Cubase saying something like "unexpected / unsupported format". But thank you for the tip - I will remember that when working with other DAWs.
@Guitarhacker In the moment RealBand is not an option for me as I cannot get it to work properly, but thanks anyway!

Great Will, glad it worked. If I'm ever in Denmark you can buy me a beer!
