Man, you are on a roll, Bob! Just one good song after another.
Cool intro, and I love the way you used that chorus loop, very effective. Mix wise everything sounds great through the studio 'phones. And of course I have to mention that signature vocal sound too!
Excellent as usual, and a great way to start off 2019!

Great write, vocal and that mix just pops!
We've said it before but the high bar consistency of your productions is remarkable. You could release many albums with absolutely no filler.

Great start to the new year! I thought your economy of words was excellent—a three-note motif that you kept spinning around your connoisseur theme—well done!
I also liked the constant level of your voice and the band...i think that it creates a steadiness, a repeated nature that serves the song real nicely.
Enjoyed tuning in on this early New Years morning for a great track!

Dear Bob... I have to agree with what "Blue Attitude" said about you "being on a roll". Do you feel that you are experiencing a period of increased creativity and inspiration lately? Regardless, your recent prolific musical activity including "The Art of Love", is causing me to form the idea that you are writing an autobiography where your songs are the chapters and your lyrics are the text that fills them with substance. It could be titled, "Portrait of An Artist...As An Artist". Well, what else would it be titled, right? Du-u-hhh!  In "The Art of Love" (nice graphic on your SoundCloud page, by the way!), your lyrics are more impressionistic than ever. They give up their meanings like peering through windows that are partially obscured by frost; you see only enough to discern the outlines of a scene that cause you to imagine the rest. The intro is surrealistic, glassy-sounding, like the music of a dream. Your Real Tracks arrangement is full-bodied and moody as usual. One could say that you have a "signature" sound. It's a rich, personalized listening experience. I await the next chapter... LOREN
