Dear Bob...

I have to agree with what "Blue Attitude" said about you "being on a roll". Do you feel that you are experiencing a period of increased creativity and inspiration lately?

Regardless, your recent prolific musical activity including "The Art of Love", is causing me to form the idea that you are writing an autobiography where your songs are the chapters and your lyrics are the text that fills them with substance. It could be titled, "Portrait of An Artist...As An Artist". Well, what else would it be titled, right? Du-u-hhh! smile laugh

In "The Art of Love" (nice graphic on your SoundCloud page, by the way!), your lyrics are more impressionistic than ever. They give up their meanings like peering through windows that are partially obscured by frost; you see only enough to discern the outlines of a scene that cause you to imagine the rest.

The intro is surrealistic, glassy-sounding, like the music of a dream. Your Real Tracks arrangement is full-bodied and moody as usual. One could say that you have a "signature" sound.

It's a rich, personalized listening experience. I await the next chapter...
