I do solo performances with backing tracks made on BB. I make audio transfers of the songs from BB to my Jam Man. Just in case my Jam Man fails, I like to have a backup. Right now I carry a laptop for that.
I am thinking about making .wav files of everything and putting them on a tablet. They don't take much room and they are pretty cheap, around $50 for one with 16gb of memory. These run at 1.3 ghz.
Does anyone know if I will have a latency or buffering problem with a processor at this speed if I am using .wav files?

I don't know what the gigaherz spec on my mine is but it is a cheapie I use for just this purpose and I run .wav files up to 80 meg. Never had a problem.
