"MarioD"...

Emotion rises up from your orchestra the moment you raise your baton on this composition. Can an orchestral performance be epic, and intimate, at the same time? With the way that clarinet melody establishes a lonely, searching mood amidst the rising and falling waves of the strings, the choir, the tympani rolls and cymbal clashes, I would answer 'yes' to that question.

In your own comments on your posts, you seem like a man who lives with a certain amount of humility, so please don't shy away from my statement that this composition even in its brevity sounds like something Claude Debussy would have composed. It's dreamily pastoral, possesses a sure dramatic weight, and is grandly spacious in its texture.

I believe that virtual orchestras are only as good as the musical ideas that are created with them, so you deserve praise for how you used the "Amadeus Orchestra" to voice your symphonic vision.

Well done, Maestro Mario! Bravo!

Sincerely,

LOREN
