Hi Warren,

There's a few things you need to do to attach a screenshot to a post, take the screenshot, save the screenshot as a graphic file and attach the file to your post.

Taking the screenshot: Press the "PrntScr" key on your keyboard to copy a snapshot of the whole display screen. If you have multiple windows open and want a screenshot of just one of the open windows, make the desired window the "active" window (the window in the forefront) then press both "Alt" + "PrntScr" and a screenshot of the active window is taken. In both cases the screenshot is stored in the Windows clipboard.

Save the screenshot as a graphics file: Open a graphics program like Windows Paint. Press both the "Ctrl" + "V" keys at the same time to paste the screenshot previously stored in the Windows clipboard. Now save the screenshot as a jpg or png file to your desktop. I always leave the filename as the default name used by the graphics program for simplicity.

Now to attach the file to your post: Press the "Switch to Full Reply Screen" button at the bottom of the Quick Reply: box and the Quick Reply: box changes to the New Reply box. Press the File Manager link and the File Manager window opens. Follow steps 1, 2 & 3 to upload the screenshot.
