In Stylepicker, it's possible to filter recently used styles. I've marked this option as #2 on the image below.
Also, I find the "Show only favorites" (#3) very, very useful when I'm style surfing.
When I find a style I like, I right-click on it and then select "Add to favorites". Prior to doing this, I usually remove the 'favorite' classification from previous surfing efforts.
These two filter options open a world of possibilities!
