hello im a bit confused with the new bb daw, not sure about the 32 bit 64 bit thing. can the new bb daw run inside audacity or any other 32 bit music program or does the program have to be 64 bit. i tried the audacity software and clicked on the bb plugin from the audacity menu but nothing happened and no message came up saying anything was wrong or that bb daw was incompatable. thanks......

You can use the Standalone version with Audacity. If you are on a 64bit OS you can try JBridge.

i tried stand alone bb daw but it crashed when i used the select tab to open a style demo option but i tried the file tab option and it opened a song demo of real tracks but wouldnt open midi tracks. anyway once i got a song generated i dragged into audacity in seconds ...brilliant... but then as in all the other daws i have tried it went to pot when i tried to add another track. just thought id let you know how i got on, being as you put your effort into helping me. thanks

If you have a 32bit OS the Standalone won't run as it's 64bit. There a new 32bit plug being tested but it's hasn't got the FX one yet that the audio only app like Audacity and Audition need, so you will need to use the new Standalone 32bit (when released in a day or so) app until the 32bit FX plug is released.
i can get the bb daw working in audacity as stand alone. are you running the bb plugin from within audacity? if you are how do i do this. ive tried copying bb plugin folder to audacity plugin folder but audacity cant initialize the plugin from the plugin box

I copied it there also but it has the default C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTplugins folder, you just need to click at the top of the Effects list Add/Remove then enable it in the manager.
thanks pipeline it keeps saying it failed to initialize when i click ok, this also happens with most other plugins. imm googling "failed to initialize plugin audacity" at moment it must be my set set up. its not a major problem, i was just seeing which daws the new bb daw/vst worked best with.

Audacity don't have MIDI Virtual Instruments so you need to choose FX, see the one above with FX in the name. I sent you more info in a PM see that flashing red envelope at the top of this forum.
